[origin: EP0178488A2] In a manufacturing process for membrane switches (23), all the conductor paths (17, 19, 21) are mounted adjacent to one another on one side of a single membrane strip (15) and this is subsequently deformed such that a cavity (29) is produced which carries the conductor paths (17, 19, 21) at defined switching distances on its inner side. If the membrane strip (15) is provided with notches (33; 39, 41) on its sides before connection, a particularly flexible membrane switch (31) is then formed for mounting on curved surfaces and the precondition for producing individual switches (37) is met. <IMAGE>
