The electromagnetic relay described here which is especially suitable for the electrical equipment of motor vehicles, has a contact system, which has a rocker-type armature 20 (which can pivot about a central bearing position and is controlled by the relay coil 13), and a contact rocker 21 (which is arranged generally parallel to the rocker-type armature 20 and can likewise pivot about a central bearing position). The positioning force drawing the rocker-type armature 20 into its respective end position is transmitted in a sprung manner onto the respective arm of the contact rocker 21, to make a contact, so that the force made available by the magnetic system is largely used as the contact force. The bearing position of the contact rocker 21 is formed by a bearing edge provided on the upper end of a central contact terminal 29, against which edge the contact rocker 21 is pressed by a compression spring 22. <IMAGE>

Das hier beschriebene elektromagnetische Relais, das insbesondere für die elektrische Ausrüstung von Kraftfahrzeugen geeignet ist, weist ein Kontaktsystem auf, das einen um eine mittlere Lagerstelle schwenkbaren, von der Relaisspule 13 gesteuerten Wippenanker 20 und eine zu dem Wippenanker 20 generell parallel angeordnete, ebenfalls um eine mittlere Lagerstelle schwenkbare Kontaktwippe 21 aufweist. Die den Wippenanker 20 in seine jeweilige Endstellung ziehende Stellkraft wird federnd auf den jeweiligen, einen Kontaktschluß bewirkenden Arm der Kontaktwippe 21 übertragen, so daß die von dem Magnetsystem zur Verfügung gestellte Kraft weitgehend als Kontaktkraft ausgenutzt wird. Die Lagerstelle der Kontaktwippe 21 wird von einer am oberen Ende eines Mittelkontaktanschlusses 29 vorgesehenen Lagerschneide gebildet, gegen die die Kontaktwippe 21 durch eine Druckfeder 22 gepreßt wird.
