Abstract (en)
A holder for a bobbin for releasing yarn to e.g. a weaving machine is fitted with a replaceable liner made of woven wire mesh to provide a porous surface with high points pref. about 1.5 mm apart against which the flying yarn can brush as it leaves the holder. The tubular liner may be fabricated from flat metallic cloth by conversion to a cylindrical form with a longitudinal seam to join the ends of a panel corresponding in length to the circumference of the liner.

Dispositif permettant de limiter le ballon (4) que forme un fil (3) lors des opérations de dévidage, de moulinage ou de retordage auxquelles ce fil est soumis lors de sa fabrication, Il est constitué par un élément cylindrique (1) dont la surface interne présente des parties en relief et en creux telles que le fil vienne en contact ponctuel lors de son déplacement. La surface contre laquelle le ballon (4) du fil vient en contact est constituée par un manchon (5) disposé à l'intérieur du pot proprement dit (1), ce manchon (5) étant à base d'une structure maillée constituée par exemple par un tissu métallique.
