1. Rotary, cylindrical ball mill with an inner lining (1), which has approximately circomferentially parallel grooves (2) and within which are arranged grinding balls (3), the adjacent grooves (2) being reciprocally bounded by approximately circumferentially directed webs (3) and the centre distances (a) between the adjacent grooves (2) are smaller than the diameter (b) of the largest grinding ball (3), characterized in that the grooves (2) have a circular segmental cross-section and that in cross-section through the webs (4) the flanks (5) thereof pass into one another via a rounded portion (6).

Die zylindrische Kugelmühle weist eine Innenauskleidung (1) mit in Umfangsrichtung verlaufenden kreissegmentförmigen Rillen (2) auf. Der Mittelabstand (a) benachbarter Rillen (2) voneinander ist kleiner als der Durchmesser (b) der größten Mahlkugel (3). Die Rillen (2) gehen über Flanken (5) und eine Abrundung (6) ineinander über, deren Radius (7) vorzugsweise dem 0.15 bis 0.17-fachen des Radius (c) des Rillenquerschnittes entspricht. Die Mittelabstände (a) benachbarter Rillen (2) entsprechen dem √3-fachen des Radius (b) der größten Mahlkugel (3).
