Lit (100, 300) pour des personnes ayant besoin d'aide et/ou de soins, avec une surface horizontale (20) disposée dans un cadre (10), formée d'une partie de tête (21), d'une partie médiane (22) et d'une partie de pied (23) avec un support (50) en forme de coussin et déplaçable par rapport aux dites parties, ainsi qu'avec une installation sanitaire disposée dans le bâti de cadre (10); la présente invention permet aux personnes de passer d'une position couchée à une position assise lorsque cette position est désirée et de vaquer à leurs besoins dans une position assise naturelle, les jambes repliées vers le bas, le déplacement du lit (100, 300) dans les positions désirées et l'approche d'un water-closet (40, 370) dans la zone d'une ouverture (30) fermable prévue dans la surface horizontale pouvant être effectués par le patient ou la personne qui a besoin de soins, sans qu'une aide extérieure ne soit nécessaire, si bien que ce lit (100, 300) peut être utilisé pour des personnes ayant besoin de soins et met à leur disposition une possibilité suffisante de se laver et de se baigner.
