Glue unit for a corrugator, the glue unit being located between a pre-heater (10) and a double facer (30) and including two glue applicators (39) arranged one above the other within a frame, each glue applicator including an application roll (31) which applies glue onto the single faced corrugated web (15, 16), a counter roll (25) for the application roll (31), a glue trough having adjustable walls, and a pinching roll (32) co-operating with the application roll (39), characterized in that each glue applicator has a carriage (29) or slide which carries only the parts (31, 32) coming into contact with glue while the counter rolls (24) are stationarily supported as known per se, each carriage or slide co-operates with a stop (39) on the frame (22), and locking means are provided to lock the carriage or slide (29) when in engagement with the abutment means.
