[origin: US4682810A] This invention relates to a wheeled stretcher in which the plane on which the patient lies is adaptable in height, comprising a frame on which is fixed a top element and which rests on the ground via a support provided with wheels, wherein each leg of the support is connected to the frame by a connecting rod articulated respectively on the frame and on the leg, said rod being connected to means for adjusting the top element in height and said leg being connected to a means for maintaining and inclining the top element.

Chariot-brancard à plan de couche adaptable en hauteur, comprenant un bâti (1) sur lequel est fixé un plateau de couche (2) et qui repose sur le sol au moyen d'un piètement munie de roues (8) Chaque jambage (7, 7a) du piètement est relié au bâti par une biellette (11) articulée respectivement sur le bâti (1) et sur le jambage (7, 7a) ladite biellette (11) étant reliée à des moyens de règlage en hauteur du plateau de couche et ledit jambage (7, 7a) étant relié à un moyen de maintien et d'inclinaison du plateau.
