A device for automatically refilling bags in containers, constituted by a means (1) for guiding and distributing bags (2), which is installed in the bottom of the container (3) in the form of a diametral slot, and by a means (4) for receiving a reserve (5) of bags (2) co-operating with said guiding and distributing means (1), characterized in that the diametral slot is open at the end and is made in a single part with the means (4) for receiving a reserve (5) of bags (2) during manufacture of the container (3), said receiving means (4) having the shape of a cylinder which can be closed at its ends by removable stoppers (9).
