[origin: DE3417728A1] Racket head for a table tennis racket with a plurality of wooden layers (20) between which there is provided a glue layer (26) containing a fibre material (24) for reinforcement purposes. According to the present invention, the fibre material (24) is comprised with multifilaments bundles based on aramide and carbon fibres, whereas the wooden plies (20) consist of balsa wood in order to obtain an extremely light racket head.

Tête de raquette pour une raquette de tennis de table avec plusieurs couches de bois (20) entre lesquelles est prévue une couche de colle (26) contenant un matériau de fibre (24) pour le renforcement. Conformément à la présente invention, le matériau de fibre (24) se compose de faisceaux à multifilaments à base de fibres d'aramide et de carbone, alors que les couches de bois (20) sont en bois de balsa, afin d'obtenir une tête de raquette extraordinairement légère.
