[origin: US4556080A] The casing of the invention comprises a fixed part 1 fixedly mounted to the post 10 below the zone to be protected, this fixed part comprising, on one side of post 10, a support structure 14; a mobile part 15 for covering, in the closed position, the upper part of the post; a mechanical connection mounted between the support structure 14 and the mobile part 15; and an assistance device 22 adapted to exert a force tending to drive the mobile part during its upward movement.

Le coffre selon l'invention comprend une partie fixe (1) venant se monter fixement sur le poteau (10) en dessous de la zone à protéger, cette partie fixe comportant, d'un côté du poteau (10), une structure support (14); une partie mobile (15) destinée à recouvrir, en position de fermeture, la partie supérieure du poteau; une liaison mécanique montée entre la structure support (14) et la partie mobile (15); et un dispositif d'assistance (22) conçu de manière à exercer un effort tendant à entraîner la partie mobile au cours de son mouvement ascendant. L'invention s'applique notamment aux poteaux d'incendie.
