[origin: ES8608837A1] An apparatus for fitting a cover to a body structure comprises a main frame a first body-holding assembly mounted in the main frame, and a second body-holding assembly mounted in the main frame in spaced relationship with the first body-holding assembly. The first body-holding assembly includes an upwardly open, first body-holder means which has at least two mutually opposite and mutually spaced side surfaces and which is intended to receive and to hold one end of the body structure. When fitting a cover to a body structure, the first holder means has draped therearound an inverted back-like cover to be fitted to the body structure. Pressing means are arranged adjacent each of the side surfaces of the first holder means and are arranged for vertical movement in a direction towards the second body-holding assembly while undraping the cover and fitting the same around the defining surfaces of the body structure. The other end of the body structure is held detachably in the second body-holding assembly, which upon movement towards the first body-holding assembly causes the body structure to pushed firmly into the first, upwardly open holder means while entraining and turning part of the inverted cover thereinto.

Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Anbringen von Überzügen an Autositzrükkenlehnen und besitzt eine Kassette (12), zwei fahrbare Anpressbügel (16, 18) im Anschluss an die Kassette und eine fahrbare Haltevorrichtung (14) für die Rückenlehne. Der Überzug wird in von innen nach aussen gewendeter Lage über die Kassette und die Bügel angebracht, worauf das eine Ende der Rückenlehne auf dem Überzug über der Kassettenöffnung (15) angeordnet wird, während das andere Ende an der Haltevorrichtung befestigt wird. Die Haltevorrichtung (14) wird alsdann bewegt und presst das eine Ende der Rückenlehne in die Kassette (12), wobei der Überzug mitfolgt unter gleichzeitigem von Innen-nach-aussen-Wenden und teilweisen Überziehen der Rückenlehne. Die Anpressbügel (16, 18), welche die gleiche Breite wie die Rückenlehne aufweisen, werden nun in Längsrichtung der Rückenlehne bewegt, während sie gleichzeitig gegen Vorder- und Rückseite der Rückenlehne gepresst werden. Dabei wird der übrige Teil des Überzuges von innen nach aussen gewendet und in richtig gewendeter Lage an der Rückenlehne angebracht. Nach beendigtem Überziehen werden die Haltevorrichtung (14) und die Anpressbügel (16, 18) in ihre Ausgangslagen zurückgeführt, wobei die Rückenlehne aus der Kassette (12) entfernt wird. Die Montagevorrichtung besitzt vorzugsweise Sequenzsteuerungsorgane, mit deren Hilfe die Vorrichtung sämtliche Arbeitsmomente in einer Folge ausführen kann.
