1. Lighting and illuminated symbol device for motor vehicles, consisting of a reflector (1) with a bulb (2) and a parabolic mirror for reflecting the working light in the form of a substantially parallel beam, and with a convering or front plate (4) with an internal optical system for radiating the light outwardly in a specific strength and with the colouring conventional for traffic, there being in the path of light between the bulb (2) and the front plate (4) an intermediate diaphragm (5-6-) consisting of a transparent and coloured layer (5) of material, of which the surface which is towards the buld is provided with a plurality of staggered condenser lenses (51 ), the intermediate diaphragm further comprising a middle layer (6) which is impervious to light and which carries a corresponding arrangement of apertures (61 ) disposed in the layer of material equiaxially with the individual condenser lenses (51 ) and which are in a position to encase every beam of working light from the condenser lenses (51 ), the intermediate diaphragm further comprising a transparent material layer (7) of which the outer surface which faces the front plate (4) is likewise provided with a corresponding arrangement of condenser lenses (71 ), characterized in that the condenser lenses (71 ) on the outer surface which faces the front plate (4) are of substantially the same size as the condenser lenses (51 ) disposed on the lamp side (5) and with which they cooperate so that in an axial direction with the frustoconical apertures (61 ) in the middle layer (6) all incident basic rays (83 ) of the individual working light beams can be collected and passed on outwardly in a parallel or substantially parallel direction to the optical systeme of the front plate (4) and in that the common focal point of the condenser lenses (51 ,71 ) located on the same optical axis lies within the smallest openings in the middle layer.

Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Beleuchtungs- und Lichtzeicheneinrichtung für Kraftfahrzeuge, bestehend aus einem Reflektor mit Glühlampe und Parabolspiegel zur Rückstrahlung des Betriebslichtes in Form eines im wesentlichen parallel gerichteten Strahlenbündels sowie mit der Abdeck- oder Frontscheibe, deren innere Optik das Lichtstrahlenbündel mit einer bestimmten Stärke und in verkehrsüblicher Einfärbung nach außen lenkt. Erfindungsgemäß besteht eine zwischen der Glühlampe (2) und der Frontscheibe (4) angeordnete Zwischenblende aus einer inneren, durchsichtigen und mit einer bestimmten Färbung versehenen sowie eine Vielzahl von versetzt angeordneten Sammellinsen (51) aufweisenden Materialschicht (5), einer lichtundurchlässigen, mit kegelstumpfförmigen und zu den Linsen (51) koaxial ausgerichteten Öffnungen (61) versehenen Materialschicht (6), und einer äußeren, durchsichtigen und farblosen Materialschicht (7), die mit einer Vielzahl von Sammellinsen (71) versehen ist, welche zu den Linsen (51) koaxial ausgerichtet sind und die gleiche Größe wie diese aufweisen.
