[origin: EP0180163A2] The leaf has a frame composed of vertical and horizontal frame legs and a blind part composed of a number of slats (15) which are arranged at a mutual distance above one another and which are aligned obliquely relative to the surface of the leaf. The vertically aligned frame legs (12) each have, on their side facing the frame inside, a continuous recess (25), into which the ends of the slats (15) are inserted. Respective grooves (26; 27) are present in the inner faces of the wall parts (23; 24) limiting the recess (25) and are both aligned with one another. Inserted into this pair of grooves (26; 27) alternately with the slats (15) are spacer plates (31), the contour line of which is preferably matched to the contour line of the slats (15). The spacer plates (31) ensure the correct mutual spacing and the correct oblique alignment of the slats (15). <IMAGE>
