Carburetting device comprising an induction passage containing a driver-actuated throttle (22), a main jetting circuit which is fed with air and fuel and opens into the induction passage (12) upstream of the throttle (22) for delivering a primary air-fuel mixture, a idling circuit (19, 21, 30, 32) which opens into the induction passage downstream of the throttle and which is provided with a solenoid valve (61) for cutting off the flow of air-fuel mixture through the idling circuit, means (62) for controlling the solenoid valve (61) during deceleration and a device for forcibly opening the throttle (22) from its minimum opening position, said control means (62) being arranged for energizing the forced opening device at the beginning of a deceleration, characterized in that the control means (62) are arranged for also controlling the solenoid valve (61) for cutting off fuel delivery above a first predetermined speed threshold (V1) and adjusting the fuel flow rate in inverse relation to the speed between the first threshold (V1) and a second threshold (V0) lower than the first threshold and higher than the idling speed.
