In a multi-pin plug connector with a component insert, whose electrical terminal parts are conductively connected to contact elements arranged in chambers in a contact carrier made of dielectric material, according to the invention the terminal parts of the component insert and the associated contact elements are designed such that they can be directly plugged together. In this way, a small space requirement, simple assembly, easy replacement of the component insert and, if required, minimum expenditure to achieve good sealing are achieved in a cost-effective manner with respect to the prior art. In this arrangement, it is particularly expedient to design the terminal parts as axially running springs, arranged in externally located slots in a retaining member surrounding a guide pin of the contact carrier and rigidly connected to the component insert. <IMAGE>

Bei einem mehrpoligen Leitungssteckverbinder mit einem Bauelementeeinsatz, dessen elektrische Anschlußteile mit in Kammern eines Kontaktträgers aus Isoliermaterial angeordneten Kontaktelementen leitend verbunden sind, sind erfindungsgemäß die Anschlußteile des Bauelementeeinsatzes und die zugehörigen Kontaktelemente direkt zusammensteckbar ausgebildet. Dadurch ist auf kostengünstige Weise gegenüber dem Stand der Technik ein geringer Platzbedarf, eine einfache Montage, eine leichte Auswechselbarkeit des Bauelementeeinsatzes und gegebenenfalls minimale Aufwendungen zur Gewährleistung hoher Dichtigkeit erreicht. Dabei ist es besonders zweckmäßig, die Anschlußteile als in außenliegenden Nuten eines mit dem Bauelementeeinsatz fest verbundenen, einen Führungsstift des Kontaktträgers umfassenden Halteteils angeordnete axial verlaufende Federn auszubilden.
