Arranged in series in the intake line (11) of a fixed displacement pump (10) are an orifice (14) and an adjustable restrictor (15), the smallest cross-section of passage of which is smaller than that of the orifice (14). The restrictor (15) is adjusted by the pressure in the delivery line (13) with the aid of an actuating cylinder (17) which is subjected to pressure and is controlled via a directional control valve (21) which is likewise adjustable by the pressure in the delivery line counter to the force of a governor spring (25). The solution according to the invention ensures that the power input of a pump is reduced when the maximum pressure is exceeded. <IMAGE>

In der Saugleitung (11) einer Konstantpumpe (10) sind hintereinander eine Blende (14) und eine verstellbare Drossel (15) angeordnet, deren kleinster Durchflußquerschnitt kleiner ist als der Durchflußquerschnitt der Blende (14). Die Drossel (15) wird vom Druck in der Förderleitung (13) mit Hilfe eines druckbeaufschlagten Stellzylinders (17) verstellt, der über ein Wegeventil (21) angesteuert ist, das ebenfalls vom Druck in der Förderleitung entgegen der Kraft einer Reglerfeder (25) verstellbar ist. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Lösung erreicht man, daß die Leistungsaufnahme einer Pumpe bei Überschreiten des Maximaldrucks abgesenkt wird.
