Abstract (en)
The vertically operating machine tool has at least one tool slide (14) guided on a wall (18). The workpiece is transferred between at least two working positions (10) on one side of the wall (18) by means of a manipulator (26), mounted on the other side of the wall, through at least two wall apertures (20, 22). The manipulator (26) has a two- piece bending arm (32) which can be rotated about a pivoting axis (36) and whose bending movement is derived from its rotary movement by positive guidance. Uniaxial control for the manipulator is therefore sufficient despite the complicated transfer of the workpiece in both directions through the wall (18) and along the same. <IMAGE>

Die vertikal arbeitende Werkzeugmaschine hat wenigstens einen an einer Wand (18) geführten Werkzeugschlitten (14). Der Werkstücktransport zwischen wenigstens zwei Arbeitspositionen (10) auf der einen Seite der Wand (18) erfolgt mittels eines auf der anderen Seite der Wand gelagerten Handhabungsgeräts (26) durch wenigstens zwei Wanddurchbrüche (20,22) hindurch. Das Handhabungsgerät (26) hat einen um eine Schwenkachse (36) drehbaren zweiteiligen Knickarm (32), dessen Knickbewegung durch Zwangsführung von seiner Drehbewegung abgeleitet wird. Es genügt daher trotz des komplizierten Werkstücktransports in beiden Richtungen durch die Wand (18) und längs derselben eine einachsige Steuerung für das Handhabungsgerät.
