1. Device (1) for retaining and/or securing panels (4, 5), screens and related items made of glass, plastic or some similar material and comprising a sprocket profile (2) and a clamp profile (3) between which the panel (4, 5) or screen and spacers (11) are arranged, whereby a clamping bolt (9) is inserted through each of the spacers (11), one end of which rests on the sprocket profile (2) and the other end of which locates in the clamp profile (3), characterized in that when the device (1) is tightened up, the head of one clamping bolt (9) affects the locating face (17) of the end (collar 15) of the spacer (11) extending into the clamp profile (3) in such a way that its protruding material is distorted.

Bei einer Vorrichtung (1) zur Halterung und/oder Befestigung von Tafeln (4,5), die aus einem Sprossenprofil (2) und einem Klemmprofil (3) besteht, sind zwischen diesen die zu befestigende Tafel (4, 5) sowie Distanzkörper (11) angeordnet. Diese werden jeweils von einer Spannschraube durchgriffen und sind mit einem Ende an dem Sprossenprofil (2) abgestützt und mit dem anderen Ende in dem Klemmprofil gehalten. Im verspannten Zustand der Vorrichtung ist das das Klemmprofil (3) durchgreifende Ende eines Distanzkörpers (11) mittels der Spannschraube (9) verformbar. Auf diese Weise wird der Montageaufwand verringert und es sind nur wenige Teile erforderlich, um eine zuverlässige Halterung von Glastafeln oder ähnlichen Bauteilen zu schaffen. Außerdem wird erreicht, daß, ohne daß zusätzliche Dichtungsmittel erforderlich sind, keine Feuchtigketi durch die Spannschraubendurchführung hinter das Klemmprofil (3) gelangt.
