[origin: US4655905A] The invention relates to a process for catalytic treatment of heavy hydrocarbons, in a fixed or moving bed, over a catalyst containing an alumina carrier and at least one catalytic metal or compound of metal from groups VB, VI B and VIII of the periodic classification of elements, characterized by the direct injection into the charge, continuously or periodically, of at least one metal compound selected from the group consisting of halides, oxyhalides, oxides, polyacids and polyacid salts of metals from groups VI B, VII B and VIII, before introducing the charge into the hydrotreatment zone.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'hydrotraitement catalytique d'hydrocarbures lourds, en lit fixe ou mobile, sur un catalyseur renfermant un support d'alumine et au moins un métal ou composé de métal catalytique de l'un au moins des métaux des groupes V B, VI B et VIII de la classification périodique des éléments caractérisé par l'injection de manière continue ou périodique d'au moins un composé de métal choisi dans le groupe formé par les halogénures, les oxyhalogénures, les oxydes, les polyacides et les sels de polyacides des métaux des groupes VI B, VII B, et VIII dans la charge, directement avant son introduction dans la zone d'hydrotraitement.
