[origin: ES8608666A1] For the purposes of introducing filling material which is capable of flow into a tap hole which is disposed in the edge region of the bottom of a metallurgical vessel, in particular a smelting furnace, there is provided a filling pipe which is secured to an arm which is pivotable about a pivot means mounted to the wall of the vessel. The pipe can be pivoted from a position outside the vessel through an opening in the wall of the vessel into a filling position in which the intake opening of the pipe is in communication with a container for supplying the filling material and the discharge opening of the pipe is in opposite relationship to the tap hole. The pipe is of a circularly bent configuration around the pivot axis of the arm so that the opening in the wall of the vessel can be kept small.

Zum Einfüllen von rieselfähigem Füllmaterial in eine im Randbereich des Bodens (6) eines metallurgischen Gefäßes (1), insbesondere eines Schmelzofens angeordnete Abstichöffnung (7) ist ein Füllrohr (11) vorgesehen, das an einem Arm (17) befestigt ist, der um ein an der Gefäßwand angebrachtes Drehgelenk (18) schwenkbar ist. Das Rohr (11) ist aus einer Position außerhalb des Gefäßes (1) durch eine Öffnung (12) in der Gefäßwand in eine Einfüllposition schwenkbar, in der die Eintrittsöffnung (13) der Rohres (11) mit einem das Füllmaterial liefernden Behälter (15) verbunden ist und die Austrittsöffnung (14) des Rohres (11) der Abstichöffnung (7) gegenüber liegt. Um die Öffnung (12) in der Gefäßwand klein halten zu können, ist das Rohr (11) kreisförmig um die Schwenkachse des Arms (17) gebogen.
