Abstract (en)
A light-sensitive silver halide photographic material having on a substrate at least one silver halide emulsion layer and at least one hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein a triphenyltetrazolium compound represented by the following General Formula (I) is incorporated in at least one of said silver halide emulsion layer and said hydrophilic colloid layer. General Formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1>, R<2> and R3 each represent a hydrogen atom or a group showing a negative value in Hamett's sigma value ( sigma p), and X<(-)> represents an anion; except that R<1>, R<2> and R3 are hydrogen atoms at the same time. The light-sensitive silver halide photographic material is useful in lithography for forming dot images having very high contrast and also stable as being free from detorioration of its performance during storage under high temperature and high humidity.
