[origin: US4630937A] The invention relates to a watch or the like equipped with a display device of the date type, wherein the symbols to be displayed are located on a mobile support (44) and are perceived by an observer through a window (36). According to the invention, a bundle (38) of coherent optical fibers is mounted in said window such that one end of said bundle is disposed near the mobile support (44) while its other end is flush with a visible surface of an element of the watch.

L'invention concerne une montre ou similaire équipée d'un dispositif d'affichage du type dateur, dans lequel les signes à afficher sont portés par un support mobile (44) et sont perçus par un observateur à travers une fenêtre (36). Selon l'invention, un faisceau (38) de fibres optiques cohérentes est engagé dans ladite fenêtre de façon telle qu'une extrémité dudit faisceau soit disposée à proximité du support mobile (44), tandis que son autre extrémité affleure une face visible d'un élément de la montre.
