In a warhead (10) with an essentially cylindrical housing (12), an annular region of the housing jacket is divided into segments (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) which are supported such that they are eccentrically hinged and can swivel on axles (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) arranged in the housing (12). As the segments swivel out, the air resistance is increased, by which means an unacceptably high spin rate of the warhead 10 can be reduced to lower levels. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Gefechtskopf (10) mit einem im wesentlichen zylindrischen Gehäuse (12) ist ein ringförmiger Bereich des Gehäusemantels in Segmente (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) unterteilt, die exzentrisch angelenkt auf im Gehäuse (12) angeordneten Achsen (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d) schwenkbar gelagert sind. Durch Ausschwenken der Segmente wird der Luftwiderstand vergrößert, wodurch ein unzulässig hoher Drall des Gefechtskopfes 10 auf geringere Werte reduziert werden kann.
