[origin: WO8600001A1] The seed pellets possess a core which contains seeds, an organic substrate, loess, organic fertilisers, fungicides and possibly pesticides and a wetting agent which promotes wettability of the external surface. At least one bitter principle is also included for covering the core with a coating and possibly also for distribution inside the core. The core is also provided with a semi-permeable envelope made of at least a starch and/or latex. The loess serves as a binder for the various constituents of the core and also for retaining the water for the organic substrate. The semi-permeable envelope also helps to improve and regulate the water balance. The pellets can therefore be used also with sensitive seeds, needing much water for germination and/or can be sown in dry regions and are in addition resistant to breakage and to abrasion.

Les pellets inséminés présentent un noyau qui contient des graines, un substrat organique, du loess, des engrais organiques, des fongicides ainsi qu'éventuellement des pesticides, et un agent mouillant favorisant la mouillabilité de la surface extérieure. Un principe amer est en outre prévu pour recouvrir le noyau d'un manteau et éventuellement aussi pour se disperser à l'intérieur du noyau. Le noyau est en outre pourvu d'une enveloppe semi-perméable, qui est constituée d'au moins un empois et/ou d'un latex. Le loess sert de liant pour les différents constituants du noyau et en outre à la rétention d'eau pour le substrate organique. L'enveloppe semi-perméable contribue également à l'amélioration et à la régulation du régime aqueux. Les pellets peuvent être utilisés avec des semences sensibles, nécessitant beaucoup d'eau pour la germination et/ou peuvent être semés dans des régions arides et sont en plus résistants à la rupture et à l'usure.
