1. A method for the renovation of a brick wall of a building, damaged by moisture and provided with a facade rendering, wherein, first of all, the old rendering layer is removed exposing the brick wall, and the building is subsequently provided with a facade rendering permeable to moisture, characterized by the following working stages : a) facing the exposed brick wall with panel-shaped structural elements (4) arranged at a distance thereto, having continuous cut outs (4'), one end whereof issues into the cavity (5) created between the facework and the brick wall and whose other end faces the facade ; b) arranging, inside the openings at the end of the cut outs (4') which faces the facade, a support (3) for the rendering, which support is permeable to air ; c) creating, or leaving free an open communication at the bottom and top of the facework between the ambient air and the cavity (5) existing between the facework and the brick wall ; d) applying the new facade rendering to the outer side of the facework, lime rendering being used.

Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren zur Sanierung von salpetergeschädigtem, mit einem zementhaltigen Fassadenputz versehenen Ziegelmauerwerk (1) wird zur Erzielung einer wirksamen Belüftung des geschädigten Mauerwerks und zur Vermeidung eines weiteren Eindringens von im Fundament (14) vorhandener Feuchtigkeit in das Mauerwerk die zementhaltige Putzschicht unter Freilegung des Ziegelmauerwerks entfernt und hiernach im Abstand zu dem Mauerwerk eine durchgehende horizontale Ausnehmungen (4') aufweisende Verblendung (4) errichtet, sodann nach Einbringung eines luftdurchlässigen Putzträgers (3) in die Ausnehmungen ein Kalkmörtelputz (12) auf die Außenseite der Verblendung aufgebracht wird, wobei an der Unter- und Oberseite der Verblendung zwischen der Außenluft und dem zwischen der Verblendung und dem Mauerwerk gebildeten Hohlraum (5) eine offene Verbindung geschaffen wird.
