[origin: US4663862A] The present invention relates to a web tension control device provided at a vertical drier for cloth webs, in which the cloth web is guided by means of conveyor means located in front of the lower cloth web inlet and after the lower cloth web outlet and by means of guide rollers provided in driven motion in the upper area of the drier. In order to detect without error the tension of the upward running cloth web, guide rollers 16, 17 are provided together with their common drive 18 on a rocker member 30 located outside the drier. The rocker member axis 30 is located immediately adjacent to the second guide roller 17 in running direction, while rocker member 30 is supported at the other end on a pressure cell 34 emitting a signal for the tension of the upward running cloth web.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Bahnspannungsregeleinrichtung an einem Vertikaltrockner für Warenbahnen, bei dem die Warenbahn über dem unteren Warenbahneingang vorgeordneten, dem unteren Warenbahnausgang nachgeordneten angetriebenen Transportmitteln und im oberen Bereich des Trockners angeordnete angetriebene Umlenkwalzen 16, 17 geführt wird. Um die Bahnspannung des aufwärtsgeführten Warenbahnstranges fehlerfrei zu erfassen, sind die oberen Umlenkwalzen 16, 17 zusammen mit ihrem gemeinsamen Antrieb 18 auf einer außerhalb des Trockners angeordneten Wippe 30 gelagert. Die Wippenachse 31 ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der in Laufrichtung der Warenbahn zweiten Umlenkwalze 17 angeordnet, während die Wippe 30 am anderen Ende auf einer Druckmeßdose 34 abgestützt ist, die ein Signal für die Bahnspannung des aufwärtsgeführten Warenbahnstranges liefert.
