[origin: EP0183613A1] 1. Induction furnace, with vertical channels, characterized in that it includes a series of drift pins (6) for cleaning which are each disposed in the axis of a channel (2) and which are mounted for vertical movement with respect to the furnace so as to be able to be moved into the channels or be removed therefrom, a motor (9 or 23) for moving the assembly of pins (6) and automatic timing means for controlling the motor so as to impart to the pins a vertical reciprocal movement at given time intervals.
