[origin: WO8600175A1] A filtered shielded connector assembly (10) is comprised of an insulating housing member (12) having one or more connector receiving cavities (26) therein, a plurality of pin terminals (36), filtering means and shielding means (43). The shielding means (43) is comprised of two metal members, a front face plate (40) and a shell (58), said plate (40) and shell (58) being dimensioned to surround said housing member (12). One end (38) of each terminal (36) extends through apertures (20) in the housing and into the connector receiving cavities (26), the second end (40) of each terminal (36) extends rearwardly from the housing (12), through the filtering means and through the shielding shell (58).
