Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0183928A2] 1. Device on multi colour printing presses for feeding sheets (1) printed one or both sides between the printing units (12, 13) or between a printing unit (13) and the delivery (15) by means of a chain system (16, 17) guided around a drum (18) with grippers (6) arranged transversely to the sheet transport direction, furthermore with blowing devices arranged in the sheet outlet (5) falling away below the drum (18), which blow air simultaneously on to both of the flat sides of the sheet (1) acting oppositely to one another, which hold the sheet (1) which is being guided through in suspense so that it does not touch any of the blowing units, wherein the guide surfaces (2.1, 2.2) arranged lying opposite to one another which push out air and which are connected with flow channels connected with openings and which are closed as such, which extend along the length and width of the sheet path in such a way that the sheet (1) fed through between them is subjected over its entire length and width to the oppositely acting blown air streams, characterised in that as openings bores (7) with a diameter of at least 15 mm are provided, the distance of which is so chosen that their total surface area in each case amounts to 15 to 30% of the guide area (2.1, 2.2) and that the bores (7) can be subjected from individually controllable fans (8.1 to 8.4, 10.1 to 10.4) at a low feed pressure between 30 and 300 Pascal.
