Abstract (en)
Ready-dyed dyeings with hot-fixed dyes on polyester fabrics have hitherto not been dischargeable with aqueous discharge print pastes since the discharging agent of a purely aqueous system cannot penetrate into the interior of the hydrophobic textile fibre. It is now been found that fast discharge prints can be produced on dyed polyester materials if the print pastes, in addition to hydrophilic solvents and discharging agents, contain hydrophobic copolymer mixtures.

Fertige Färbungen mit heißfixierten Farbstoffen auf Polyestergewebe lassen sich mit wäßrigen Ätzdruckpasten bisher nicht ätzen, weil das Ätzmittel im rein wäßrigen System nicht bix in das Faserinnere des hydrophoben Textilguts eindringen kann. Erfindungsgemäß wurde nun gefunden, daß echte Ätzdrucke auf gefärbten Polyestermaterialien erzeugt werden können, wenn die Druckpasten neben hydrophilen Lösemitteln und Ätzmitteln noch hydrophobe Copolymerisatmischungen enthalten.
