[origin: US4733429A] The motor 3 of the vacuum cleaner is surrounded by the elastomeric shroud 4, which is air-tightly joined to the blower 2. The blower 2 moves the drawn in air into the space defined by the shroud, which the air can only leave through the air outlet ports 13 formed in the wall of the shroud. Behind the air outlet ports 13 there is a filter 10, which cleans the air coming from the shroud. The air passes into the space between the shroud and the vacuum cleaner housing, where it is distributed and comes to rest. It passes through numerous air outlet ports 15 in the vacuum cleaner housing at a low speed.

Der Motor 3 des Staubsaugers ist von einer elastomeren Haube 4 eingeschlossen, die luftdicht an das Gebläse 2 angeschlossen ist. Das Gebläse 2 befördert die angesaugte Luft in den durch die Haube 4 umschlossenen Raum, den die Luft nur durch in der Haubenwand ausgebildete Luftaustrittsöffnungen 13 verlassen kann. Hinter den Luftaustrittsöffnungen 13 inst ein Filter 10 angeordnet, der die aus der Haube austretende Luft reinigt. Die Luft gelangt in den Zwischenraum zwischen der Haube und dem Staubsaugergehäuse, wo sie sich verteilt und beruhigt, und tritt durch zahlreiche Luftaustrittsöffnungen 15 in dem Staubsaugergehäuse mit geringer Geschwindigkeit aus.
