Abstract (en)
The crimping machines currently used in production are position-controlled and the quality of the crimped connection is determined by measuring the compressed height of the solder-free connection after production. According to the invention, a force-controlled crimping machine is introduced in which the crimping force is continuously detected and a nominal value is determined for each combination of wire/spring. The crimping force is limited as a function of this nominal value. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die zur Zeit in der Fertigung benützten Crimpmaschinen sind weggesteuert und die Güte der Crimpverbindung wird nach Fertigstellung der lötfreien Verbindung durch Messung der Preßhöhe bestimmt. Nach der Erfindung wird eine kraftgeregelte Crimpmaschine eingeführt, bei der die Crimpkraft kontinuierlich erfaßt wird und für jede Kombination von Litze/Feder ein Sollwert festgelegt wird. In Abhängigkeit dieses Sollwertes wird die Crimpkraft begrenzt.
