1. A protective helmet comprising a headband (25) surrounding the head and a suspended lining (3), characterized in that between the headband (25) and the crown (1) a support is interposed that consists in combination : of a band (4) that is fixed to the interior of the crown (1) and extends over the front face and the two side faces of the latter, and of a rear component (15) that, fixed in the rear portion of the crown (1), comprises three branches, one of which is a central branch (18) equipped with fixing means for the headband (25), and two are lateral branches (17) comprising on one hand means to fix the rear component into the crown (1) and on the other hand means to fix pads (30) for the nape of the neck.

Ce casque est du type de ceux comportant un bandeau de tour de tête (25) et une coiffe suspendue (3). Entre le bandeau (25) et la calotte (1) est interposé un support constitué en combinaison: - par une bande (4) qui est fixée à l'intérieur de la calotte (1) et s'étend sur la face avant et sur les deux faces latérales de celle-ci, - et par une pièce arrière (15) qui, fixée dans la zone arrière de la calotte (1), comporte trois branches, dont une branche centrale (18) munie de moyens de fixation du bandeau de tour de tête (25), et deux branches latérales (17) comportant, d'une part, des moyens pour la fixation de la partie arrière dans la calotte (1) et, d'autre part, des moyens de fixation de coussins de nuque (30).
