[origin: EP0185284A2] The hair brush, particularly for styling wet hair, comprises an oblong handle (2), a bristle shaft (3) with bristles (6) set all round over the entire length. A sleeve (4) has openings (5) enclosing the bristle shaft. The sleeve is firmly connected to the handle, so that the bristle shaft which is twisted wire core (8) is axially displaceable in the sleeve. In the retracted position drawn back to the handle the bristles lie in the inner cavity (17) of the sleeve. When the core is pushed forwards, the bristles project out through the openings.
