La présente invention est relative à une anode pour tube à rayons X. Cette anode est caractérisée en ce qu'elle est constituée par un corps de base en nitrure d'aluminium et dans les zones actives, par une couche de matériau émissif. En raison de sa bonne capacité d'évacuation de la chaleur, elle peut être utilisée notamment dans les tubes de forte puissance.
