[origin: US4685284A] A method of producing twisted yarn comprises precision doubling several single yarns in a precision assembly winder to form a precision package which is dyed or bleached. The yarn is thereupon twisted during withdrawal from the precision package.

Beim Verfahren nach der Erfindung wird ein gezwirntes gefärbtes Garn in nur drei Verfahrensschritten hergestellt. Dabei findet als erster Schritt das Präzisionsfachen ab Spinnspule auf einer Präzisionsspulmaschine statt, wobei eine Präzisionsspule erstellt wird, auf der das Garn im zweiten Schritt gefärbt und anschliessend im dritten Schritt ab der gleichen Spule gezwirnt wird.
