Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8501039A1] The stabilized system for suspensions prepared from A-type zeolite and water has the following composition: on one hand, a water-insoluble non ionic surfactant such as fatty alcohol polyglycol ether and on the other hand, an anionic sulfate surfactant, particularly sulfuric acid monoesters of primary C12-C18 alcohols respectively secondary C10-C20 alcohols in the form of water-soluble salts, or reaction products based on the sulfated alcohols having reacted with 1 to 4 mol-equivalent of ethylene oxyde, or sulfated fatty acid alkanol amides respectively sulfated fatty acid monoglycerides in the form of water-soluble salts or mixtures thereof, as auxiliary stabilizing means. The proportion by weight between the non ionic surfactant and the anionic surfactant ranges between 5 : 1 and 1 : 5. Quantity used: 0.5 to 5% by weight. Preferably, the pH of the suspension is adjusted by addition of an acid salt to a value lower than 12, particularly between 9 and 11. The suspensions used for the preparation of detergents and lyes with a small content of phosphate or even free of phosphate exhibit a low viscosity during storage and utilization in a temperature range comprised between the room temperature and 80<o>C; they have irreproachable fluidity properties and produce no or hardly any residual deposits.
