[origin: WO8505398A1] The apparatus is used for automatically binding the crossing points of orthogonal trussing rods used for reinforced concrete. The apparatus comprises essentially a wire feed device (4, 5), two tongs-shaped wire guides (9, 10) and eccentric rotary wire severing member (8) and two gripping levers (11, 12). The wire is displaced through the guides (9, 10) wherein it is bent to form a band. Then, it is cut and seized by the gripping levers, drawn towards the center, clamped and twisted. The apparatus is of universal use and is also capable of binding steel bars of different thicknesses.

L'appareil sert à lier automatiquement les points de croisement d'une armature à barres orthogonales utilisées pour le béton armé. L'appareil présente essentiellement un dispositif d'avance du fil (4, 5), deux guides (9, 10) de fil en forme de pince, un organe (8) de sectionnement du fil excentrique et rotatif et deux leviers de préhension (11, 12). Le fil est déplacé à travers les guides (9, 10) où il est courbé pour former une bande. Ensuite, il est tronçonné et saisi par les leviers de préhension, tiré vers le centre, pincé et torsadé. L'appareil est utilisable universellement et est aussi apte à lier des barres d'acier de différentes épaisseurs.
