In a die-casting machine in which the injection part comprises a squeezing cylinder (1) with a press plunger (4) and in which the squeezing pressure required to fill the mould is provided from a high- pressure accumulator under gas pressure, damaging pressure peaks are to be avoided at the beginning of the squeezing pressure. Provided for this purpose in the press plunger (4) is an auxiliary plunger (14) which can be displaced in the axial direction of the press plunger (4) and opens freely into that front face of the press plunger (4) which faces the pressure medium. The pressure desired for the squeezing pressure is applied at that end of the auxiliary plunger (14) which faces away from the pressure medium for the press plunger (4). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Druckgießmaschine, bei der das Einpreßteil aus einem Preßzylinder (1) mit einem Preßkolben (4) besteht und bei der der zur Formfüllung erforderliche Nachdruck aus einem unter Gasdruck stehenden Hochdruckspeicher aufgebracht wird, sollen zu Beginn des Nachdruckes einsetzende schädliche Druckspitzen vermieden werden. Zu diesem Zweck ist in dem Preßkolben (4) ein in Achsrichtung des Preßkolbens (4) verschiebbarer Hilfskolben (14) vorgesehen, der frei in die dem Druckmedium zugekehrte Stirnfläche des Preßkolbens (4) mündet. An der dem Druckmedium für den Preßkolben (4) abgewandten Ende des Hilfskolbens (14) steht der für den Nachdruck gewünschte Druck an.
