The process for producing carrying handles from carrier materials, which are provided with an adhesive mass and the width of which is greater than the width of the carrying handle, by trimming so as to form the side edges of the desired carrying handle is characterised by the use of a carrier-material web which is stretched predominantly perpendicularly relative to the web direction and which possesses perpendicularly to the web direction a tension value for a 5% elongation of at least 20 N/25 mm width.

Beansprucht wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Tragegriffen aus mit Klebemasse versehenen Tägermaterialien, deren Breite größer ist als die Tragegriffbreite, durch Abschneiden, indem die Seitenkanten des gewünschten Tragegriffs gebildet werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine überwiegend senkrecht zur Bahnrichtung gereckte Trägermaterialbahn verwendet wird, die senkrecht zur Bahnrichtung einen Spannungswert bei 5% Dehnung von mindestens 20 N/25 mm Breite besitzt.
