[origin: EP0186112A2] A marking label for cables, tubes, containers and the like exhibits a marking carrier sheet (1), the top of which can be written on and which is joined at one edge (1a) to a self-adhesive foil as cover sheet (3). The remaining underneath side of the cover sheet (3) carries a removable protective sheet (4) which is pulled off after labelling. The cover sheet (3) is pressed onto the labelled top of the marking carrier sheet (1). The marking label can also be constructed as self-adhesive label. <IMAGE>
