1. A tilting joint (1) for a box-mounted awning with joint arms (15), the fabric shaft (6) being disposed in a box (3) provided on its free vertical front with a drop-out panel (11) connected to the free front ends of the joint arms, means being provided for adjusting the angle of inclination of the joint arms when the awning is in the extended state, together with a pivot mounting (24) for moving the joint arms (15) from their horizontal position in the retracted state into an inclined position when the awning is in the extended state, and also a separable ratchet device for fixing the joint arms in their inclined position, there being disposed on the pivot bearing (24) a locking arm (20) which is adapted to pivot about a first pivot axis (S1 ), while on the locking arm (20) a bearing block (26) is mounted to pivot about a second pivot axis (S2 ), the bearing block comprising a bore (27') through which a setscrew (28) passes at right-angles to the second pivot axis (S2 ), the inner end of which carries an external screwthread (31) which engages a threaded block (33) accommodating a threaded bore (31) and mounted to pivot about a third pivot axis (S3 ) which is above the first pivot axis (S2 ) and inwardly from the second pivot axis (S2 ), there being guided on the locking arm (20) a locking bolt (40) which is parallel with the pivot axis (S2 ) of the bearing block (26) and the pivot axis (S3 ) of the bearing block (33), the locking holt (40) being adapted for coordinated movement together with and in the direction of an abutment shoulder (51) on the relevant joint arm (15), and in that the free end (50) of the locking bolt (40) extends sufficiently towards the abutment shoulder (51) that during the final phase of the pivoting-in movement of the joint arm (15), the locking bolt (40) is so displaced that the ratchet device constructed between the locking bolt (40) and the setscrew (28) is released, and in which the ratchet means is constructed in that the locking bolt (40) passes through an outer recess (37) on the setscrew (28) and itself has an outer recess (48) so that it is displaceable in a direction parallel with the longitudinal axis (41) of the setscrew (28) when this recess (48) coincides with the longitudinal axis (41) of the setscrew (28).

Bei einem Kippgelenk für eine Kassettenmarkise mit Gelenkarmen, wobei die Tuchwelle in einer Kassette angeordnet ist, welche an ihrer freien, vertikalen Stirnseite mit einer mit dem freien vorderen Ende der Gelenkarme verbundenen Ausfallblende versehen ist, und wobei eine Einrichtung zur Einstellung des Neigungswinkels der Gelenkarme im ausgefahrenen Zustand, ein Schwenklager zur Überführung der Gelenkarme von ihrer horizontalen Lage im eingefahrenen Zustand in eine geneigte Lage im ausgefahrenen Zustand und eine lösbare Rasteinrichtung zur Fixierung der Gelenkarme in ihrer geneigten Lage vorgesehen ist, ist vorgesehen, daß an dem Schwenklager (24) eine Sperrschwinge (20) um eine Schwenkachse (S1) schwenkbar angeordnet ist, daß an der Sperrschwinge (20) ein Lagerblock (26) um eine Schwenkachse (S2) schwenkbar gelagert ist, welcher eine Bohrung (27) aufweist, welche von einer Stellschraube (28) senkrecht zur zweiten Schwenkachse durchsetzt wird, deren Inneres, mit einem Außengewinde (31) versehenes Ende in einen oberhalb der ersten Schwenkachse (S1) und einwärts von der zweiten Schwenkachse (S2) um eine dritte Schwenkachse (S3) schwenkbar gelagerten, eine Gewindebohrung (32) aufnehmenden Gewindeblock (33) eingreift, daß an der Sperrschwinge (20) ein Sperrbolzen (40) parallel zu der Schwenkachse (S2) des Lagerblocks (26) und der Schwenkachse (S3) des Gewindeblocks (33) geführt ist, daß der Sperrbolzen (40) in Richtung auf eine Anschlagschulter (51) des jeweiligen Gelenkarms (15) mit dieser koordiniert bewegbar ist, daß das freie Ende (50) des Sperrbolzens (40) sich zur Anschlagschulter (51) soweit erstreckt, daß der Sperrbolzen (40) in der Endphase der Einschwenkbewegung des Gelenkarms (15) derart verschoben wird, daß die zwischen dem Sperrbolzen (40) und der Stellschraube (28) ausgebildete Rasteinrichtung gelöst wird.
