The fuel injection valve is intended for injection systems of internal combustion engines and has a valve casing (1), an electromagnetic actuator, arranged within the valve casing (1), for moving a valve closing member (7) spring-loaded in the closing direction out of a closing position, in which it blocks a passage opening (11), into an opening position. There is furthermore a swirl chamber (20), into which approximately radially directed channels (19) connected to the passage opening (11) open and from which a coaxial fuel outlet (21) emanates. The channels (19) have a cross-section of passage which decreases towards the swirl chamber (20). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektromagnetisch betätigbares Kraftstoffeinspritzventil für Einspritzanlagen von Brennkraftmaschinen, mit einem Ventilgehäuse (1), einem innerhalb des Ventilgehäuses (1) angeordneten elektromagnetischen Stellglied zur Bewegung eines in Schließrichtung federbelasteten Ventilschließglieds (7) aus einer eine Durchtrittsöffnung (11) absperrenden Schließstellung in eine Öffnungsstellung. Weiterhin ist eine Drallkammer (20) vorhanden, in die mit der Durchtrittsöffnung (11) verbundene, etwa radial gerichtete Kanäle (19) einmünden und von der ein koaxialer Kraftstoffaustritt (21) ausgeht. Die Kanäle (19) besitzen einen sich zur Drallkammer (20) hin verringernden Durchflußquerschnitt.
