[origin: ES8702636A1] The invention pertains to a process and a device for the melting and holding in the molten state light metal alloy loads. There are provided two chambers respectively referred to as the loading-melting chamber and the holding-tapping chamber, interconnected by a channel with reduced section. The loading-melting chamber is placed at a level which is above that of the other chamber and a space under the loading-melting chamber houses a heat exchanger for heating the combustion air by combustion products.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la fusion et le maintien en fusion de charges d'alliages de métaux légers. Selon l'invention le dispositif comprend deux chambres (2, 3) respectivement de chargement-fusion et de maintien-soutirage reliées par un passage de section réduite (4), la chambre (2) étant placée à un niveau supérieur à celle de la chambre (3) et décalée verticalement, un volume (5) sous la chambre (2) étant ménagé pour loger un échangeur de chaleur air de combustion/produits de combustion. L'invention s'applique à la fusion des alliages de métaux légers.
