There are provided two chambers respectively referred to as the loading-melting chamber and the holding-tapping chamber, interconnected by a channel with reduced section. The loading-melting chamber is placed at a level which is above that of the other chamber and a space under the loading-melting chamber houses a heat exchanger for heating the combustion air by combustion products.
