Contact bracket for automatically making contact to, and breaking contact with, the product supports used in electroplating units, having a main body (1), a wedge-shaped clamping plate (2) and a compression spring (6) arranged between them, the wedge-shaped clamping plate (2) being arranged to slide at a wedge angle (4) on the main body (1), characterized in that the lower part of the wedge-shaped clamping plate is provided with a projection (3) whose upper surface (5) is of saddle-shaped construction.
