Abstract (en)
A vacuum switch is designed to be particularly small and cost-effective, in that the housing contains at least one metal part (11, 12) and a dielectric part (10) bounding the said metal part in the axial direction, in that the dielectric part ensures the dielectric strength inside the tube, but not that of the outer circumference which is subject to the influence of the atmosphere, and in that a dielectric coating (3) surrounds the dielectric part (10) and the metal part (11, 12) at least over a part of its extent in the axial direction and seals the covered region of the dielectric part (10) in a moisture-proof manner with respect to the surrounding atmosphere. The invention can advantageously be used for protective tubes and medium-voltage tubes. <IMAGE>

Eine Vakuumschaltröhre wird besonders klein und kostengünstig gestaltet, indem das Gehäuse zumindest ein Metallteil (11, 12) und ein in axialer Richtung daran angrenzendes Isolierstoffteil (10) enthält, indem das Isolierstoffteil die Spannungsfestigkeit im Inneren der Röhre, nicht aber unter dem Einfluß der Atmosphäre an ihrem äußeren Umfang gewährleistet und indem eine Isolierstoffschicht (3) das Isolierstoffteil (10) und das Metallteil (11, 12) zumindest über einen Teil seiner Ausdehnung in axialer Richtung umfaßt und den abgedeckten Bereich des Isolierstoffteils (10) feuchtedicht von der umgebenden Atmosphäre abschließt. Die Erfindung ist für Schützröhren und Mittelspannungsröhren vorteilhaft einsetzbar.
