[origin: WO8600342A1] Probe and method for the detection $i(in vitro) of the sex of a human embryo by hybridation of the probe with nucleic acids of cells from said embryo. The method is implemented with a probe containing a fragment of DNA hybridable with the fragment EcoRI of 2.8 kb obtained from the euchromatic region of the large arm of the chromosome Y and deposited on the 29/06/1984 at the Collection Nationale des Cultures de Micro-organismes under the No I/312, said hybridation being performed or maintained in the presence of a solution 0.1 x SSC, at 65-68?oC, more particularly 68?oC.

Une sonde et un procédé pour la détection in vitro du sexe d'un embryon humain par hybridation de la sonde avec les acides nucléiques de cellules provenant de cet embryon. Le procédé est mis en oeuvre avec une sonde contenant un fragment d'ADN hybridable avec le fragment EcoRI de 2,8 kb obtenu à partir de la région euchromatique du grand bras d'un chromosome Y et déposé le 29/06/1984 à la Collection Nationale des Cultures de Microorganismes sous le No I-312, cette hybridation étant réalisable ou maintenue en présence d'une solution 0,1 x SSC, à 65 - 68oC, plus particulièrement 68oC.
