The device has an injection nozzle and a downstream glow element (22) which has a passage (24) for the injection sprays and is surrounded by an annular space (72) which is connected to the combustion chamber via channels (70 and 96 respectively) and from which there lead into the path of the injection sprays channels via which the injection sprays draw in air from the combustion chamber by an injector effect. According to the invention, the glow element (22) has a continuously decreasing outside diameter towards the injection nozzle, by virtue of which the injector effect is reinforced, the parts (30, 44, 46, 48, 50) surrounding the upstream region of the glow element (22) and serving to hold and contact it are relieved of thermal stress and the dynamic behaviour of the glow element is improved. <IMAGE>

Einrichtung zum Einspritzen von Kraftstoff in einen Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine, mit einer Einspritzdüse und einem nachgeschalteten Glühkörper (22), der einen Durchgang (24) für die Spritzstrahlen hat und von einem Ringraum (72) umgeben ist, welcher mit dem Brennraum über Kanäle (70 bzw. 96) in Verbindung steht und von welchem Kanäle in den Weg der Spritzstrahlen führen, über welche die Spritzstrahlen durch lnjektorwirkung Luft aus dem Brennraum ansaugen. Der Glühkörper (22) hat erfindungsgemäss einen zur Einspritzdüse hin sich stetig verkleinernden Außendurchmesser, wodurch die Injektorwirkung verstärkt, die den stromauf liegenden Bereich des Glühkörpers (22) umgebenden, zu seiner Halterung und Kontaktierung dienenden Teile (30, 44, 46, 48, 50) thermisch entlastet und das dynamische Verhalten des Glühkörpers verbessert wird.
