A self-supporting, stretch-oriented polyester film is described, which is coated with an adhesion promoter covering one or both sides of the film. The coating of adhesion promoter consists of gelatin, the quantity of which is sufficient to guarantee the bonding of printing ink or light-sensitive emulsions applied directly to the gelatin.

Es wird eine selbsttragende, streckorientierte Polyesterfolie beschrieben mit einer Haftvermittlerbeschichtung, die eine oder beide Seiten der Folie überzieht. Die Haftvermittlerbeschichtung besteht aus Gelatine, wobei die Menge der Gelatine ausreichend ist, um die Haftung von direkt auf die Gelatine aufgebrachter Druckfarbe oder lichtempfindlicher Emulsionen zu gewährleisten.
